was
born and reared in Iowa. My parents were born again believers before I was born.
While I was still a very small child they were attending the Assemblies of God.
However, by God's good providence my parents began attending an independent
Baptist church and in time associated themselves with it. Therefore my earliest
memories of church are those of my family attending this small Baptist church.
It was in that Baptist church I was saved around the age of nine or ten years
old. I have often stated I was saved in a Baptist church, baptized in a Baptist
church, married in a Baptist church, called to preach in a Baptist church,
licensed to preach by a Baptist church, ordained by a Baptist church, and
commissioned to missionary service by a Baptist church. It is little wonder then
that I am an independent fundamental King James Bible believing Baptist! I am a
Baptist by conviction.My Convictions: MISSIONS: My missionary career has led me to the Bible conviction that mission boards are not Biblical and all missionaries should be sent out directly from the local church. Request my booklet BIBLICAL MISSIONS. This will be sent via email as a Word attachment. Bible missions is church planting and therefore a missionary is to be (1) a male and (2) a preacher. THE BIBLE: God has certainly had His good hand upon my life in this area. My undergraduate work was in a Westcott and Hort school. God graciously led me to do my graduate work in a school holding to the superiority of the King James Bible. It was here I was introduced to Dr. David Fuller's books. I was convinced through reading Fuller and Burgon that our King James Bible is God's Word in the English language due to its superior Hebrew and Greek Texts, superior translators and superior translation technique.. This conviction on the superiority of the King James Bible led me to associate myself with the Dean Burgon Society. I have the honour of serving on its executive committee. BIBLE SEPARATION: Personal and ecclesiastical separation is Biblical and essential. It is Biblical and therefore should be obeyed. It is essential for the spiritual health of the individual believer and the local church. The individual should separate from worldliness and all ungodliness. The local church should separate from unbelievers, ecumenism, new evangelicalism, charismatics, the WCC, and disobedient fundamentalists. Bible separation will keep a believer and the local church pure and fit for the Master's use. My Ministry: By God's grace we are seeking to plant an independent Baptist church in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. Dubbo is 400 klm's west of Sydney on the edge of the Australian outback. Dubbo is a city of almost forty thousand with two Baptist Union churches (similar to the Southern Baptist), Roman Catholic, Church of England, Assembly of God, Uniting church, Mormon, JW's and Islamic house of prayer to name a few. Roman Catholicism is the predominant "Christian" denomination. Dubbo and Australia do not need more "churches" but gospel preaching Christ honoring independent Baptist churches.
