Sodomy violates the plan of God. However, in spite of its violation to Gods plan and nature, the sin of sodomy is being accepted at an alarming rate. It is being accepted by those in high places and all too often even by the man on the street. The Australian state government of New South Wales is attempting to indoctrinate the children that sodomy is natural. This they hope will be accomplished through public education. We recently read that; The Minister for Education and Training, Verity Firth, has announced a $250,000 pilot program aimed at tackling homophobia in schools.[1] When some classrooms in the New South Wales public schools lack air conditioning two hundred and fifty thousand dollars is being spent to indoctrinate the children that sodomy is just another lifestyle!

       Naturally, ACON president Mark Orr, welcomes this sodomite programme saying We welcome this pilot program as an important initiative not only tackling homophobia and transphobia in schools, but promoting the mental health and wellbeing of same-sex attracted or gender questioning young people, providing safe and inclusive learning environments and helping young people value and celebrate diversity within society.[2]  Well who or what is ACON? ACON is NSW's and Australias largest community-based gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) health and HIV/AIDS organisation.[3] What is it about todays society when young people are questioning their gender! Are we living in the days of Noah when …God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth Genesis 6:12? 

       To help further the sins of the children the New South Wales state government will hold parent workshops to explain the aim and goals of the pilot program and to seek their input about how the pilot program can be tailored to suit the needs of their local community.[4] May there be a tribe of parents rise up against this indoctrination of their children!

       The present Labor Party government believes it MUST identify early in the program how best to assist schools build their capacity to support same-sex attracted and gender questioning young people.[5] Hopefully, if the Coalition wins in the March elections this programme will be axed.

       This is not only taking place in Australia but in the United States for Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has uncovered a controversial sexual book list for American school children, which includes topics such as underage sex with adults and homosexual sex — reportedly endorsed by Obamas Safe School Czar Kevin Jennings. These are books for students to read or have read to them, with some as young as kindergarten… sex books for 6-year-olds?[6] Six years old!!

       All the trumpeting of homophobia does not change the Scriptures. In the beginning God created male and female! Reproduction of humans is by means of male and female and marriage is the vehicle through which God desires that goal to be achieved, Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Even though the promoters of the sodomite agenda continue their campaign the Scriptures have spoken and the fact remains that sodomy is unnatural.

       Genesis 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

       A couple of things stand out here concerning these cities and Lot. Firstly, the place is known as Sodom and secondly the act of two of the same sex lying together is named after this city. Thirdly, even carnal Lot had enough spiritual discernment to know sodomy was sin and he had enough grit to say to the sodomites that what they wanted to do was wicked.  In this day we believers need to be vocal speaking the truth in love for the Word of God and against the rising sin of sodomy. This must be done before laws are passed making it illegal for speaking or writing the truth. After the passage of laws protecting sodomy imprisonment will follow for those who oppose it.

       Peter speaking of the destruction of these cities writes in 2Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly. Cities often become the fortresses of sinners. The destruction of these cities was an example showing man that God judges ungodly living. Sin brings judgement!

       Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

       In Leviticus 20:13 the punishment for an act of sodomy is included, If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. Many people discard these verses due to their being in the Old Testament but this is often a smokescreen for ones own sin.

       Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no whore (Hebrew word for a female sodomite) of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. Gods chosen people were not to allow an Israelite to live such a life of debauchery.

       1 Kings 14:24 And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. This sin is spreading like a disease. There is no nation and so there will be no family left untouched.

       1 Kings 15:12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. Sodomy and idolatry walk hand in hand.

       1 Kings 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.

       2 Kings 23:7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove. The sodomite worship centres destroyed by Josiah have sadly now moved into some of the houses supposedly established for the worship of the Lord.

       In the beginning Gods plan was one man and one woman! Anything apart from this is in opposition to the plan set forth by the Creator. A perusal of these Old Testament passages shows the utter disgust God has for this sin and that Gods people should have the same.  So what does God have to say concerning this sin in the New Testament? 

       In Matthew 19: 4 6 the Lord said …he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave (to be glued)  to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. No matter how much some seek to twist the Scriptures neither man with man nor woman with woman is in agreement with this passage.

       Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Jude calls it strange flesh. It is not natural! That is, man with man and woman with woman in a sexual way is not natural!

       The classic New Testament passage speaking in opposition to the ever growing acceptance of sodomy is Romans 1:19 32

\      Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

       This passage is pretty much self-explanatory. This horrible sin is described as vile (depraved, wicked). It is a shame for a man to be with a man sexually. It is against nature and against God! What is it that a professing Christian does not understand about these verses in Matthew, Romans, Jude and Peter? Shouldnt the sodomite be warned?!

       The acceptance of the sin of sodomy has even poked its ugly head into the United States military. This affects fundamental and evangelical chaplains. At their 2010 annual conference the General Association of Regular Baptists passed a resolution confronting this matter of homosexuality in the military. The resolution read Recognizing that there are those who practice homosexuality presently serving in the military, and that our chaplains are providing compassionate Christ-like care to all service members and their families,

       Holding that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and our only infallible rule for faith and practice, and affirming that homosexual activity is prohibited by the Holy Scriptures (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:1832),

       Recognizing that Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people (Prov. 14:34), we

       Express our position that no further changes to the current policy be made into law;

       Call upon the members of our fellowshipping churches to contact their respective U.S. Representatives and Senators, asking them to vote to maintain the current policy of Dont Ask, Dont Tell;

       We further call upon the churches in our fellowship to express Christ-like compassion without condoning the behavior of those who proclaim a homosexual lifestyle, and to pray for our government and military leaders (I Tim. 2:12).[7] This resolution is very much needed and appreciated but if the US government does not listen what will the churches and their chaplains do? How much liberty will be forfeited in preaching the Word of God when sodomy is openly accepted in the US military? Time will tell.

       The Baptist Bible Fellowship International says We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of Gods gift of sex. We believe that God rejects any attempt to alter ones gender by surgery or appearance.[8] 

       According to those pushing the sodomite agenda these two organizations, the GARBC and the BBFI, are nothing but homophobic. Homophobic?! According to the Encarta Dictionary to be homophobic is showing an irrational hatred, disapproval, or fear of homosexuality, gay and lesbian people, or their culture. It is not homophobic to speak against what God is against! There is no hatred for the sodomite but there is disapproval and hatred for the sin! Nonetheless there are some professing Christians that are seeking to reverse the bad image of Christianity…to publicly confess their shortcomings by leaving notes in public places and reporting them on a website.[9] The bad image is supposedly speaking out against sin! The man who began this public confession scheme said My confession is I've been a homophobic Christian. The gay community deserves love, not discrimination[10] Whether one can say or write against some lifestyle and it sound like love or hate probably depends much on where one stands concerning the issue.  

       God says in 1Corinthians 6:9 -11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  Some of these church members had been sodomite sinners but no longer as they were now washed, sanctified, justified saints!

       1 Timothy 1:8 - 10 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine.  Should not the sodomite be warned?!  

       Concluding the matter it is certain there is much more that could be written on this subject but the fact remains that those who favour sodomy will continue to argue but their argument is with God not this writer.  God says Know ye not the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Sodomites are included in the term the unrighteous.  Should they not be warned?!

       Unfortunately many today do not know or at least will not accept this as a warning! They see it as hatred or homophobic. Not content to quietly live their lifestyle the sodomites are publically seeking to have laws passed that recognize their unnatural relationships as a marriage. Nevertheless, the Bible declares Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge Hebrews 13:4. Again it MUST be LOUDLY reiterated marriage is for one man and one woman no matter what laws the government may pass. Should not the sodomites be warned?!

       Let it be known that sodomites, as do all sinners, must repent of their sins and turn by faith to Christ and Christ alone in order to be prepared to inhabit heaven; 1 Corinthians 6: 11. Otherwise they will not go to heaven but will be in that company of unrepentant sinners only to be cast into the Lake of Fire which burneth forever and forever. As Thomas Boston said The Gospel…slighted will make a hot hell… The sodomite along with all unrepentant Christ rejecting sinners will spend all of eternity in a place Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched Mark 9:44. While there is life and breath it is never too late For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved Romans 10:13.
