Sending Church: March, 2002 Dear Prayer Partners, Greetings in the lovely and wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We would like to bring you up to date on a few things. 1. On request of Mark Ryan (an unsaved man) David has joined the SES (State Emergency Service) as chaplain. This is a volunteer organization which performs various duties in the state and local community such as bush fires, search and rescue, storm damage repairs, etc. His first meeting was last Monday evening. There are about 35 people in the local organization but he would also be involved with other SES groups further west. We trust the Lord will open a hearts or hearts through this. 2.We distributed tracts in the East Ridge housing area this week. 3.The programme manager at the local radio station 2DU is back. He was off work for several weeks due to summer holiday plus an injury to his back. David spoke to him concerning the "free" programme the sales manager (Tim Moses) had mentioned earlier. Mr.. Crosby said there was no free programme time plus the programming was such the only thing available was paid ad spots. We have pasted a package outline and costing below. 2DU Radio Dubbo Total $850 US for the following over 10 consecutive days. 40x30 sec daytime commercials 15x30 sec run of station commercials 15x30 sec ZOO fm commercials (This is a rock station reaching those 30 and below.)
