This one world government ...scheme could raise tens of billions of dollars on behalf of the United Nations' public health arm from a broad base of consumers, which would then be used to transfer drug-making research, development and manufacturing capabilities, among other things, to the developing world. The among other things is abortion. Read
http://www.un.org/esa/population/publications/contraception2003/Web-final-text.PDF which says The United Nations has been instrumental in promoting the international acceptance of
family planning (this means abortion) and the intervention of Governments to deal with a wide spectrum of their population issues. Through the convening of international and inter-governmental conferences, and the wide dissemination of research on demographic trends, population projections and the evolution of national population policies, the United Nations helped foster a mind-set on the issue of lowering high rates of population growth and fertility, as a means of facilitating socio-economic development, and also as a means of helping couples to achieve their desired family sizes. As a result, the international community, NGOs and civil society were mobilized to provide resources and marshall grass roots support for family planning (this means abortion) efforts in developing countries based on the principle of human rights. This in turn led to the wide distribution and acceptance of effective, safe, low-cost and easy to use contraceptives. The United Nations also played a crucial role in situating family planning programmes (this means abortion) within the wider framework of reproductive health and reproductive rights. Italicized words added by this editor. This is a scary proposition the UN desires to implement!
http://www.smh.com.au/national/one-pokie-for-every-110-of-us-20100116-mdf3.html ONE POKIE FOR EVERY 110 OF US 17 January, 2010 (Edited by DCB) Australian are a betting people and this is seen as There is now one poker machine for every 110 people in Australia, putting the nation in the top 10 of international gambling meccas, alongside Monaco and Macau. Australia holds the title for having the eighth-highest total number of gaming machines, with 186,344 in pubs and clubs. Countries comparable to Australia, such as New Zealand and Britain, have rates closer to one machine for every 300 people. Both state and federal governments accept the fact that Australia has a gambling problem so therefore Federal and state ministers are due to meet in April to discuss what action should be taken on problem gambling. However, do not look for much to be done as gambling brings in a lot of dollars in spite of the damage it does to the family and society. http://www.freshconservative.com/Fresh_Conservative/Fresh_Conservative/Entries/2010/1/11_In_Politics,_the_C_Word_Always_Matters.html IN POLITICS, THE C WORD ALWAYS MATTERS 11 January, 2010 (Edited by DCB) Two definitions of character given in Websters 1828 Dictionary is By way of eminence, distinguished or good qualities; those which are esteemed and respected; and those which are ascribed to a person in common estimation. We enquire whether a stranger is a man of character and Adventitious qualities impressed by office, or station; the qualities that, in public estimation, belong to a person in a particular station; as when we ask how a magistrate, or commander supports his character. So In defense of Bill Clinton, their democrat president, the liberal media campaigned to convince Americans that character does not matter. In the midst of the Clinton scandals, I was shocked to hear even a minister say Clinton's affairs were a personal matter and did not affect his presidency. The media spin worked.
An extraordinary man, Jon Huntsman, founder of the Huntsman Cancer Institute, was recently featured on the Glenn Beck TV program. Asked by Beck to share his story, Huntsman told a tale of amazing integrity. In the 1980s Huntsman sold his business for 54 million dollars. The buyer's lawyers were slow. In the six months it took them to finalize the contract, Huntsman's business grew in value five times their original deal. The buyer was willing to pay more. Huntsman said he would stick to their original deal because he had given his word and shook the buyer's hand. Huntsman's character and integrity is a striking contrast to the caliber of men and women we have running our country. Huntsman shared the following quote from Winston Churchill, With integrity, nothing else counts. Without integrity, nothing else counts. The kind of people we put in office is extremely important.
http://frontpagemag.com/2010/01/19/burka-barbie/ BURKA BARBIE 19 January, 2010 (Edited by DCB) Any person who loves liberty but believes that radical Islam does not represent a clear and present danger to western civilization should be required to spend a month living under Sharia Law in a Muslim country. It would ultimately be a less expensive, and more lasting, means of energizing the nation than waiting for a terrorist to successfully complete the kind of mission of destruction that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab came so close to executing on Christmas day. In Saudi Arabia Religious police prowl the streets of Saudi Arabia...looking for those who dare to resist the will of Allah, as that will was recorded by his prophet/stenographer Muhammad. The religious police in the Kingdom come in both the official and unofficial variety, the latter mostly composed of elderly male busybodies who revel in the opportunity to harass a western woman daring to wear a dress whose sleeves leave a portion of her forearms shamelessly exposed. These amateur versions of Bharney bin Fife are, not surprisingly, even more fanatic about their mission than their professional counterparts. One example of this enforcement is when an American woman was arrested by the religious police while walking her dog, a Scotch Terrier. The Scotch Terrier is distinctive in its appearance, with a face that features a long chin beard. Long chin beards are also a requirement for Muslim males living under Sharia Law. Put these two facts together and the unavoidable Sharia legal conclusion is that the Terriers beard must go, lest it serve to mock the sacred traditions of Islam. Thus this unfortunate American woman was compelled to bring her pooch in for an appointment with one of Allahs barbers. This and other ...examples of Islamic insecurity...get virtually no play in western media circles. Surely that would not be the case if say a Christian or Jewish sect found it necessary to take barber shears to Rover in order to preserve religious purity. But, as we have learned, diversity has its limits.

GOOGLE JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THE BUG THAT CENSORS NEGATIVE SUGGESTIONS ABOUT ISLAM -- DAY 13 (Edited by DCB)
Most of us use Google every day but never realized that Google's self-imposed dhimmitude is just one more outcropping of the same self-imposed dhimmitude that kept Western newspapers, formerly proud bastions of the freedom of speech and energetic warriors against censorship, from publishing the Muhammad cartoons, and that keeps mainstream media outlets, Left and Right, from speaking honestly about the jihad threat. That's why I am staying on this and will continue to stay on it after everyone else has forgotten it and Google is continuing on its merry jihad-friendly way. What is it that Google is doing or not doing? Well the technical people at Google can't seem to figure out how to wire their search box so that it pops up suggestions for "Islam is" that are comparable to the suggestions you get for Buddhism is or Hinduism is or Christianity is. Try it for yourself. Search for Christianity is at Google and a host of negative recommendations pop up. Is it just a coincidence that Google's bug would crop up in a way that shelters the world's most thin-skinned religion from criticism!? Probably not for In 2008 the Secretary General of the 57-government Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), the largest voting bloc at the United Nations today, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, warned the West about "red lines that should not be crossed" regarding free speech about Islam and terrorism. So much for liberty and free speech that is, unless it is against Christianity.
http://www.dailyliberal.com.au/news/local/news/general/backyard-abortion-fears-over-lack-of-services/1728023.aspx 19 January, 2010 BACKYARD ABORTION FEARS OVER LACK OF SERVICES (Edited by DCB) In spite of the fact that there are about 800 abortions each week in NSW, approximately 40,000 annually and that The top five abortionists in NSW earn $1.5 million per year from Medicare alone , ProChoice NSW has labelled Dubbos lack of abortion facilities ridiculous. The misnamed Family Planning NSWs medical director agrees and expresses her support for execution of the unborn services in Dubbo. According to these two groups it is so sad a woman must travel to Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra or elsewhere to have her unborn child executed! This desire to kill the unborn is un-natural and of course these poor deluded people would not understand the Psalmist when he wrote I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well Psalm 139:14.
